After 7 long years, Garth Brooks fans can celebrate the country superstar’s return to the Mile High City, this time in a slightly cozier venue than Mile High at Empower Field.
Brooks’ “Blame It On My Roots” tour today announced Denver as only its second stop, following four Indianapolis dates, Aug. 20-23. He’ll play Denver’s Ball Arena on Sept. 4 and 5, with tickets on sale starting at 10 a.m. Friday, July 31, via .
The general on-sale, online or through the Ticketmaster App, finds all tickets priced at $155.25 ($140 ticket price + $5.25 Facility Fee + $10 service charge) in every seat in the house, or “one fair price,” according to promoters.
Brooks last played Denver on June 8, 2019, at Empower Field a Mile High. His new approach is unusual in the concert world, where tickets are typically priced in tiers that get more expensive as seats near the stage. Setting a single price for all tickets ensures a better experience for all and disincentivizes scalpers, .
“Let’s talk for a moment about the cost to go to a concert,” he wrote. “There’s the ticket price. Currently, the average country concert ticket price is $175. That’s the average. Dang! You never go alone, so double it, at least. Parking? Want a T-shirt or two? Maybe dinner? You are looking at one expensive evening.”
The Denver show features both end-stage and in-the-round seating, with all seats reserved, promoters said. There are no pre-sales or advance box office sales, and all tickets go on sale simultaneously, with an 8-ticket limit per purchase.
“The ‘Blame It All On My Roots’ arena tour will bring every hit Garth has ever made back to the rooms where it all started,” promoters added. “These not-to-miss-shows will also serve as the foundation for Killer Live, a groundbreaking new approach to live recording that continues Brooks’ tradition of capturing history in real time.”
