ORLANDO, Fla.-

SeaWorld Orlando has boosted ticket prices by $3.

A standard one-day adult ticket now costs $64.95 and a front-gate ticket for 3- to 9-year-olds is also up $4 to $53.95.

SeaWorld says the increase will offset expenses from three new rides and a new Shamu show.

The increase follows similar moves at central Florida’s two other major theme parks, Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando. Both raised their one-day ticket price to $67 in August.

SeaWorld also announced that it plans to continue its Fun Card program, which allows Florida residents to visit the park for an unlimited number a times per year for the price of a one-day ticket.
