Lagoon, a northern Utah amusement park, is adding “Wicked,” a roller coaster with a dark tunnel filled with mist, a 110-foot tower and a maximum speed of 55 mph.
The German-made roller coaster will be Lagoon’s fastest ride.
“We think we have come up with a humdinger. … It will look very impressive from the freeway,” Dick Andrew, Lagoon’s vice president of marketing told the Standard-Examiner newspaper.
Wicked can carry 900 riders per hour. Minimum height for riders: 4 feet.
