Getting your player ready...

OK, gals, there are almost two weeks left to make good on your resolution to learn how to ride a snowboard. And your friends at Burton Snowboards and Winter Park are here to help. From Dec. 29-31, the third annual Burton Women’s Learn To Ride (WLTR) camp tour makes its only Rocky Mountain stop at Winter Park, offering women of all abilities a female-friendly environment to learn to snowboard or improve existing skills. First-timers can use Burton’s specialized women’s Learn To Ride equipment, while experienced riders can demo Burton’s latest line of boards for free. The camp costs $379 for three days of coaching, lunches and equipment, plus an additional $93 for three days of lift tickets. Included in the price are six hours of coaching per day from top female riders and instructors, video analysis, gift bags and a special Saturday night fashion show.

Do it — Interested attendees should check out the events calendar at www.skiwinterpark.com or call 970-726-1564 for more information.
