An Aurora court worker has been arrested for sexually assaulting three female prisoners.
Dennis Martinez, a marshal who has been working for the city for 17 years, was arrested on Monday.
The investigation began on December 9, when the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Department contacted Aurora police about allegations from two prisoners. They said Martinez had assaulted them while they were in a holding cell at the Aurora Municipal Court.
A third victim came forward during the investigation.
Martinez faces felony charges of sexual assault in a detention facility, punishable by up to six years in prison.
