Police were searching Tuesday for a suspected kidnapping victim who was missing after a domestic-violence incident in the 1600 block of Palm Drive in Fort Collins, authorities said.
Investigators believe that Jennifer Courtney, 35, was abducted Monday by a man she identified as her “ex.” She told police that a man was breaking into the apartment to kill her.
Police said the suspect is Mark Tuckel, 34, of Larkspur.
A witness said Tuckel got into his truck, a white 1995 full-sized Chevrolet pickup, with Colorado license plate 647-DID, and left the area.
Authorities have obtained an arrest warrant for Tuckel on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder, first-degree burglary, domestic violence and second-degree kidnapping.
