Lindsay Lohan is back to the old bump-and-grind, jumping onstage at Scores West strip club, according to the New York Post. Lohan, 20, reportedly was at the club for three hours, including a 30-minute deejay shift during the club’s “Turntable Tuesdays.” A source noted, “She got up on the stripper pole and began to dance with the Scores Girls with 400 customers cheering her on.” Lohan, who was drinking only Perrier, perhaps was preparing for her new film role as a topless dancer in “I Know Who Killed Me.”
Mary-Kate Olsen learned a show-biz lesson the hard way recently. Olsen, with a tiny role in the upcoming “Factory Girl,” refused to do any press junkets for the movie. Bad move. Olsen told the Post’s Liz Smith that producer Harvey Weinstein promptly chopped her scene from the movie.
One of the most popular Britney Spears websites, WorldOfBritney.com, is shutting down, tmz.com reported. The website’s owner, Ruben Garay, said he is closing the site Jan. 31 because he thinks the pop star is “done.” Garay said Spears is “losing her identity and credibility with fans and industry people.”
Courteney Cox-Arquette is cavorting with the enemy. The star and producer of “Dirt,” a new drama about a fictional American celebrity magazine, invited a member of the paparazzi to the set of her FX series. Cox told the Sun in London she discovered a photographer hounding her family at Disneyland recently. “I came up to him and said: ‘Look, you can stay in the park, but I need your phone number and I want to do some research for our show with you.’ So he came into the writer’s room and talked,” Cox-Arquette said. “Dirt” debuts Tuesday on FX.
