ARAPAHOE COUNTY – Two teenage boys in Arapahoe County were arrested on suspicion of spray-painting graffiti, including a swastika, at a Jewish private school, police said.

Investigators say some exterior walls at the Herzl/RMHA Academy were found defaced Thursday morning. The word “Nazi” had been painted on the main school sign, along with symbols and words about smoking marijuana.

An officer interviewed a 16-year-old boy, who confessed to the vandalism, police said. During the interview, a 14-year-old showed up. Investigators said the younger boy was also involved.

Both boys face felony charges of criminal mischief and misdemeanor charges of bias-motivated crime, police said.
