COLORADO SPRINGS – Marco Lee was charged Thursday with first-degree murder in the Dec. 4 shooting death of Colorado Springs police Officer Kenneth Jordan, authorities said.
Lee, 25, also faces two counts of attempted murder for allegedly shooting at Officers Joshua Hunter and John Garza.
Lee is also charged with eight other crimes: two counts of criminal attempt to commit murder, two counts of assault in the first degree, possession of a weapon by a previous offender, driving under the influence and two counts of a crime of violence.
He is due back in court Feb. 1.
