My favorite subject: History – it’s more interesting than a lot of the other subjects.

My favorite athlete: Allen Iverson. I saw him the day after Christmas and liked the way he played.

My favorite team: Nuggets. I always wished I could play basketball even though I can’t.

What I listen to: Country, and right before a meet we listen to rap.

The best thing on my training table: Jamba Juice.

Time-management tip: One of most important is to not put off doing assignments; I also take time for myself so I don’t get too stressed out.

Planned career: International relations or economics; considering Claremont McKenna, Emory and Trinity.

My family: Parents Jim and Jenny, brother James Sims and sister Christy Sims.

What I like most about high school sports: I love team atmosphere, but, on top of that, the competition.

Preps

Ultimately, The Post and The Denver Athletic Club will select one boy and one girl as student-athletes of the year, and a substantial donation will be made to a local charity in their names.
