A two-alarm fire broke out in a small apartment complex in Aurora during the night, heavily damaging one of four units. There were no injuries reported.
A total of 33 firefighters responded to the townhomes at 12010 E. Canal Dr., near Peoria Street and Del Mar Circle. Flames were coming through the roof when they arrived.
The heavily damaged unit was unoccupied at the time. The neighboring units received heavy smoke damage. No damage estimate was available.
Fire investigators will spend today trying to determine the cause of the fire.
