Drew Barrymore and her drummer boyfriend, Fabrizio Moretti, have ended their five-year relationship, Us Weekly reported. Barrymore, 31, a source told the magazine, “said they needed time off.” Moretti, 25, is a member of the rock band the Strokes.
Prince William, amid rumors in the British press he is close to popping the question to girlfriend Kate Middleton, has asked the paparazzi to back off, the New York Daily News reported. Dozens of photographers waited outside Middleton’s home Tuesday, her 25th birthday. Engagement rumors escalated since Middleton and her parents joined the royal family at William’s military academy graduation last month.

Katey Sagal and husband, writer-producer Kurt Sutter, welcomed their first child together on Wednesday, People magazine reported. Daughter Esmé Louise Sutter was born via surrogate, Sagal’s rep confirmed. Sagal has two children, Sarah, 12, and Jackson, 10, from a previous marriage.
