DENVER – The author of a landmark report on education reform will hold a town-hall meeting Wednesday in Denver at the Colorado Convention Center’s Four Seasons Ballroom.
The location of the 4:30-6 p.m. meeting was changed to accommodate intense interest from the public.
Marc Tucker of the National Center on Education and the Economy is the author of “Tough Choices, Tough Times,” a report that calls for dramatic education reform in the United States.
Some Colorado leaders, including House Speaker Andrew Romanoff, want to use the report as a guide for an overhaul of Colorado’s public schools system.
