COMMERCE CITY – Shamrock Foods in Commerce City won a $31.5 million Defense Logistics Agency contract for food distribution for Cheyenne and Denver zones.
The Army, Navy, Air Force and Federal Correction Center use the services. Work on the fixed-price contract with economic price adjustment will be completed in January 2008.

Suncor shutting one unit for maintenance
Suncor Energy Inc. said Friday that it is shutting down one crude-oil unit for 16 days at its Commerce City refinery for planned maintenance.
The rest of the plant remains open, and Suncor has arranged supplies to ensure customer contracts are met, the Calgary, Alberta-based company said in a statement.
Last month, a furnace failure pared production of low-sulfur diesel to 5,000 barrels a day from the plant’s normal diesel capacity of 20,000 barrels.
