COLORADO SPRINGS – The Pentagon announced Monday that another Fort Carson soldier has died while serving in Iraq.
Pfc. Allen B. Jaynes, 21, of Henderson, Texas, died Saturday when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle.
Jaynes was assigned to 3rd Squadron, 61st Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division.
