A Colorado Springs high school teacher has been arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old female student.
Matthew Prichard, 43, an art teacher at Palmer High School the past five years, was arrested and charged on Monday. He posted a $5,000 bond and was released.
Prichard previously taught at Sand Creek High School and Falcon High School.
The charges stem from an alleged incident with the student a year ago.
