High school sports: Basketball (guard, top 20 in Class 5A scoring; all-state honorable mention by The Denver Post, 2005-06) and football (quarterback, 4A first team all-state, 2005).

Grade-point average: 3.3.

Class: Senior.

My favorite subject: Astronomy. We have a few night classes and it increases your knowledge.

My favorite athlete: Gilbert Arenas. He was underrecruited when in high school as a senior.

My favorite team: Nuggets. They’re like an all-star team right now.

What I listen to: Jay-Z.

The best thing on my training table: Pasta.

Pregame ritual: I just go play.

Time management tip: I stay motivated and try to be on time and use the time wisely.

Planned career: Law or business – and I’d like to make it to the league, the NBA or NFL.

My family: Mother Kimberly Hernandez; brothers Jason Cunningham and Brad Cooper.

I would love to visit: Hawaii.

What I like most about high school sports: I would say the ranking thing … when you look at them, a lot of people don’t know about me.

What I like least about high school sports: I like it all.
