Kyle Mikel Kazemi is a senior at Ralston Valley High School in Arvada.

Kyle has been a youth mentor for Arvada Soccer’s special-needs team for four years and a member of Ralston Valley mentor program for the past two years.

Kyle lettered in soccer during his freshman year. In 2005, he helped lead the high school soccer team to the first state playoffs appearance in the school’s history. The team advanced to one of the top 16 in the state.

Kyle was selected to the all-state academic team in 2005. He was the captain of the 2006 soccer team, garnered the most assists and was named the most valuable player.

Kyle visited Germany last summer to be a part of the soccer world’s largest sporting event. He attended several World Cup games, including the United States vs. Italy.

He took Advanced Placement English as a junior and has taken a number of honors courses, including world history, biology and earth sciences. He has a 3.67 grade-point average.

Kyle plans to attend college and major in psychology.
