
Durham, N.C. – Al Thornton scored 21 points Sunday as Florida State snapped a 15-game losing streak at Cameron Indoor Stadium with a 68-67 upset of No. 8 Duke.
Toney Douglas added 15 points and Uche Echefu had 12 for the Seminoles (17-6, 5-4 Atlantic Coast Conference), who overcame a 17-point deficit to claim their first victory on the Blue Devils’ fabled home floor.
Greg Paulus finished with a career-high 23 points for Duke (18-5, 5-4), which has lost two straight games in the final seconds and must beat rival North Carolina on Wednesday to avoid its first three-game losing streak since 1999 – when the Blue Devils lost their last game of the 1998-99 season and dropped their first two in 1999-2000.

NO. 21 CALIFORNIA 72, NO. 8 STANFORD 57 at Stanford, Calif.: Devanei Hampton had a big second half to finish with 22 points and 14 rebounds as the Bears (18-5, 8-4 Pac-10 Conference) snapped a 14-game losing streak to the Cardinal (19-4, 11-1).
Freshman Natasha Vital added a season-best 19 points with six assists and six rebounds for the Bears. Lauren Greif had 15 points and six rebounds.
Candice Wiggins scored 17 points and Brooke Smith added 16 for the Cardinal.
NO. 9 OKLAHOMA 78, OKLAHOMA STATE 63 at Norman, Okla.: Courtney Paris had 41 points and 19 rebounds, and the Sooners (18-3, 8-2 Big 12 Conference) took control by outscoring Oklahoma State (15-7, 3-6) 19-2 to end the first half.
Paris reached double figures in points and rebounds for the 48th straight game, and tied a school record with her 54th double-double.
NO. 4 MARYLAND 71, BOSTON COLLEGE 39 at College Park, Md. : Shay Doron scored 15 points as the Terrapins (22-3, 6-3 ACC) snapped a two-game losing skid.
NO. 5 OHIO STATE 85, IOWA 49 at Columbus, Ohio : Jessica Davenport scored 22 points and the Buckeyes (21-1, 10-0 Big Ten Conference) tied a school record with their 26th straight home win.
NO. 7 LSU 49, SOUTH CAROLINA 46 at Columbia, S.C.: Sylvia Fowles had 23 points and 20 rebounds as the Lady Tigers (21-3, 7-2 Southeastern Conference) beat the Gamecocks for the 10th straight time.
NO. 15 VANDERBILT 91, ALABAMA 51 at Nashville, Tenn.: Caroline Williams scored 17 points for Vanderbilt (20-4, 6-3 SEC), which reached 20 victories for the eighth straight season.
NO. 17 BOWLING GREEN 73, TOLEDO 62 at Bowling Green, Ohio: Liz Honegger scored 20 points and Bowling Green (20-2, 9-0 Mid-American Conference) rallied with a 15-4 run in the final minutes.
