The Boulder International Fringe Festival returns for its third go-round Aug. 16, and once again entrants will not be determined by jury but by lottery.

An evening of ecelctic performances, culminating in the drawing to determine who will participate in the 2007 Fringe Festival, will begin at 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb 18, at the Laughing Goat Coffee House, 1709 Pearl St. in Boulder.

Among the scheduled performers Sunday are Gemma Wilcox, Theatre 13, Meridith Crosley, Liesel Euler are DJ Michael jones. In order to be entered into the lottery drawing, participants must have applied by Jan. 30.

The Boulder International Fringe Festival is an annual 12-day non-juried arts event featuring live theater, dance, circus art, media art, cinema, visual art, spoken word, puppetry, workshops and storytelling. It was the recipient of a 2006 Denver Post Ovation Award for special accomplishment.

The 2007 Boulder Fringe will include 70 artists, both local and international, who will present more than 350 performances at four venues throughout downtown Boulder. .
