Usher and his girlfriend, stylist Tameka Foster, are engaged, the New York Post reported. The couple have been dating for more than a year, and Foster has been spotted with a huge engagement ring, a source told the Post, noting, “It’s 100 percent official … (Usher has) been introducing her as his fiancée.”
The producers of “Dreamgirls” – DreamWorks and Paramount – apologized to Motown Records founder Berry Gordy Jr., stressing the film nominated for eight Academy Awards is a work of fiction. The apology came in full-page ads appearing in Wednesday’s editions of Daily Variety and The Hollywood Reporter.

Jessica Simpson has donated a minivan to the Casa Hogar Elim orphanage in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. People magazine reported the singer, 26, had won a Chrysler Crossfire sports car at the MTV Video Music Awards last fall. Simpson asked Chrysler to exchange it for a new seven-passenger van that will be delivered in March. Simpson also is auctioning on eBay the sexy red dress she wore in her new Pizza Hut commercial with proceeds going to the orphanage.
Hugh Grant’s rep has denied the actor is attending his former girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley’s wedding to Arun Nayar next month. Grant’s spokesperson said: “Hugh is not going to Elizabeth’s wedding. He was not invited, and there is no weirdness or bitterness.” Well, so much for a fun reception.
