1907: The Denver Post Colorado Art Commission was formed to select from photographs the portrait of the most beautiful woman in the Rocky Mountain region.
1957: The former rabbi of Denver’s BMH Synagogue sued the Bowman Biscuit co. for $450,000 stating that the company has misrepresented the type of shortening used in its cookies before the rabbi certified the product as meeting kosher dietary laws.
