Britney Spears’ rehab stint is eliciting several wild tales from the tabloids. Britain’s News of the World reports Spears tried to hang herself with a bedsheet after screaming “I am the anti-Christ” to terrified staff and scrawling “666” across her head. Spears is staying at the Promises Clinic in Malibu, Calif., reportedly at the urging of her mother, Lynne Spears, and her estranged husband Kevin Federline. Us Weekly reports Britney’s family is worried she might not last the full month at the rehab center. Other reports claim Spears, who has two children under 2 years old, is suffering from postpartum depression.
Lindsay Lohan, quoted by the News of the World, said she completed rehab at the Wonderland Center in Los Angeles after “people sat me down (and) said, ‘You are going to die if you don’t take care of yourself.”‘
Nicole Richie was treated for dehydration Friday while working on the E! reality series “The Simple Life.” Richie received intravenous fluids for 15 minutes and was released.
Marcia Cross feared she was having a stroke before giving birth to twin girls on Feb. 20, according to the National Enquirer. The babies, due in April, were delivered early by doctors via C-section. The “Desperate Housewives” actress developed symptoms she feared could be the onset of a stroke, a source told the tabloid.
