Eva Longoria revealed “Desperate Housewives” plotlines on “The View” recently, angering producers of the ABC series. The National Enquirer reports executives have issued a stern warning to writers, producers, directors and show staff to not reveal any information regarding the show to Longoria. Longoria, who plays Gabrielle Solis on “Housewives,” said on the ABC daytime talk show her character’s husband, Carlos, will not leave the show as rumored and the TV couple will have a “surprise lovers’ reunion” next season.
Terrence Howard denies a New York Daily News report that he and supermodel Naomi Campbell are an item. The actor told People magazine he is trying to woo back his estranged wife, Lori, who recently filed for divorce. Howard and his wife have two daughters and a son from an off-and-on marriage in 1989. “I’m still trying to campaign (for his marriage),” Howard said. “My three kids are campaigning for me too.” Howard says he and music producer Quincy Jones have acted as mentors to Campbell, but that’s the extent of their relationship. “That’s the truth of it. I’ve only known her two weeks,” he said.
There goes the neighborhood, Yoko Ono. Tom Cruise and his wife, Katie Holmes, reportedly have been approved to move into the legendary Dakota building in New York City, according to the New York Observer. The Hollywood couple passed stringent interviews to gain access to the exclusive apartment building where John Lennon was murdered in 1980. Ono still lives in the building that overlooks Central Park, which has turned down the likes of rock star Gene Simmons, Antonio Banderas and his wife, Melanie Griffith, and singer Carly Simon. Other famous Dakota residents have included Boris Karloff, Judy Garland and U2 frontman Bono.
Ryan Phillippe is not weeping over his impending divorce from Reese Witherspoon. The “Breach” actor spent two hours at a Hollywood club last weekend with Ashlee Simpson. Us magazine’s Caroline Schaffer told “Extra” Phillippe “was mixing vodka cocktails … They were giggling, having a great time.”
Just a month ago Ralph Fiennes reportedly had a midair tryst with a Qantas flight attendant. Now the Sun reports the British actor was caught swimming naked with four women in a Belgium hotel pool, according to the manager at the Hotel Tuilerieen in Bruges. Fiennes is filming the comedy “In Bruges” with co-star Colin Farrell.
Who knew Kevin Federline was the sane one in his marriage to Britney Spears? K-Fed shaved his head to show support for his troubled wife, a friend told the Sun. “He said he still loves her,” a Federline pal told the London tabloid. “(Spears) has been talking to Kevin every night for hours on the phone, telling him she still loves him.”
You can take the party out of Lindsay Lohan, but you can’t take Lindsay out of the party. In Style Weekly reports Lohan kept crew members waiting for five hours on the set of “I Know Who Killed Me” on Feb. 21, allegedly after another long night on the town. A source told the mag, “When she finally arrived, she said that she needed to take a nap.” Lohan exited her trailer five hours later, promptly vomited and immediately went home. A studio exec admonished Lohan for unpredictable behavior while filming “Georgia Rule” last year.
Maybe Angelina Jolie should give Madonna some tips on the adoption process. The actress and her partner, Brad Pitt, are adopting a 3- or 4-year-old boy from a Vietnam orphanage. E! Online reports the couple filed paperwork last week. The application already has been approved and sent to officials in Ho Chi Minh City for further review, which should take no more than three months, an official said.
