Colorado’s Class 4A schoolboys will wrap up their season Saturday night at the Coors Events Center in Boulder with something old, something new. Abraham Lincoln, a longtime Denver Prep League also-ran, will be after its first boys basketball title and the school’s first title in any sport since the 1968 boys cross country title.

The Lancers, who beat Broomfield 62-44 Thursday, will face Ralston Valley, a newer school in Jefferson County that won the 2003 title. The Mustangs beat Widefield 54-52 to advance.

In 5A, East, preseason No. 2 and blowout victim to No. 1 Doherty on the opening night of the season, returned the favor in the Final Four with a 72-51 whipping of the Spartans.

The Angels, three-time champions since 1996, will go for a fourth against Aurora Central (27-0), which knocked down defending champion Mullen 57-42 for its first title attempt in 24 years.
