My favorite team: Miami Heat.
What I listen to: Hip-hop, R&B and soul.
The best thing on my training table: For pregame dinner, I like to eat breakfast: biscuits with syrup, eggs and grits.
Pregame ritual: I listen to my iPod and pray before every game.
Time management tip: Unfortunately, there are going to be times when you can’t watch TV or talk on the phone. It hurts, but there are always reruns.
Planned career: Broadcast journalism.
My family: Parents Joe and Shon, brother Anthony.
I would love to visit: Africa, and the world.
What I like most about high school sports: The companionship and family, as well as the competition.
What I like least about high school sports: The long practices.

Each week, The Denver Post, The Denver Athletic Club and 9News honor male and female student-athletes. At the end of the school year, 10 finalists will be honored at The DAC’s annual athlete of the year banquet, to be held in early June.
