New World Restaurant Group of Golden will ask shareholders to approve a name change at the company’s annual meeting May 3.

The company said in a preliminary proxy filing that shareholders would be asked to change the name to Einstein Noah Restaurant Group Inc.

Tendril, a Denver provider of software for building, deploying and managing ZigBee applications, has expanded its collaboration with Texas Instruments Inc. to accelerate customer deployments of ZigBee applications on TI’s ZigBee 2006 Compliant Platform.

Boulder-based Sciona was granted a license from Genetic Technologies Limited for its noncoding DNA patents. The license runs for nine years.
