And it seems, for one Ralph R. Peterson, figurehead and spiritual leader for 18,000 CH2M Hill employees worldwide, cancer is a thing from which he can’t hide.
Peterson, 62, battled stomach cancer three years ago and as soon as he escaped the hospital, he bounded back into work.
Seemingly nothing can slow down this 1,000-watt personality, but anyone who experiences the pleasure of an aging body can tell you that nature eventually will do its thing.
On Monday, Peterson left for treatment and surgery in Philadelphia.
