This week, we zero in on one strip: Loveland’s Fourth Street, the heart of the city’s historic downtown and home to unique shops, restaurants and the Rialto Theater. Look beyond the outlets and the familiar offerings at The Promenade Shops at Centerra at Interstate 25 and U.S. 34, and head west into the heart of Loveland. – Kristen Browning-Blas
Getting there: To reach downtown Loveland, get on Interstate 25. From the highway, take the Colorado 402 exit west. Colorado 402 (which becomes 14th Street in town) will lead you to U.S. 287. At 287, turn north and head into Loveland’s historic town center. If you see the Loveland Museum Gallery, you’ve gone a block too far north.
