Getting your player ready...

Break out the ballcap, peanuts and Cracker Jacks, because opening day at Coors Field is a mere six days away, at least for those fortunate enough to have bought tickets for the game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Rockies announced Monday that single-game tickets are sold out. A limited number of Rockpile tickets will go on sale beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Rockpile ticket windows near Gate A. There is a limit of four adult and two children’s/senior tickets per person.

Season tickets and the Rockies “Diamond Series” mini-plans, both of which include opening day and Yankees tickets, are available. Call 303-ROCKIES for more information.

One final thought: Bundle up and keep an umbrella close by. The long-range forecast calls for a high of 56 degrees with a 60 percent chance of rain showers. No mention of snow. Yet.
