The Broncos averted a major distraction today by agreeing to a new deal with cornerback Dre Bly.
Bly signed a 5-year deal worth $33 million. He was acquired from Detroit on March 2, but was reluctant to come to Denver without a new deal.
“I’m happy we got it done,” said Broncos owner Pat Bowlen from Phoenix.
