Forget about that tearful reunion for Lindsay Lohan and her felon father Michael. The New York Post reports Lindsay talked to her father soon after his release from an upstate New York prison on March 13, telling him, “You still haven’t changed. Don’t go near my mother (Dina) ever again,” a source told the Post. Michael spent about 20 months jailed for a drunken-driving conviction.
Britney Spears cannot find any peace even in church. As she was leaving the Bel Air Presbyterian Church Sunday, according to the London Evening-Standard website, a church security guard – a retired policeman – aimed his gun at a photographer who allegedly tried to run over a traffic policeman. One witness said Spears was leaving in her SUV, and officers stopped traffic to let her out. “One photographer tried to get past and suddenly two undercover security guards ran out into the street. The photographer looked terrified. It’s not what you expect to see outside a church service.” Church executive director Mike Hooper said: “One photographer was on the wrong side of the road and tried to run over an officer who had stopped traffic. He kept coming and one of our guards pulled a gun out. I cannot speak for the security officer, but he does not regret it. This is a church, not a concert.” The photographer was handcuffed but was released.
The Olsen twins no longer are attached at the hip, but perhaps they are affixed at the nose. In Touch Weekly reports Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have consulted Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Raj Kanodia about nose jobs for both. An insider told the mag, “Ashley has always thought her nose was a little too big, so she wanted to get it done. When she talked to her sister about it, she loved the idea.” A friend noted: “They thought this would make them look more polished.” How about just paying for some acting lessons?
Jessica Simpson delivered a 2007 Chrysler minivan to a Mexican orphanage last weekend, but she had to fight off reports her father, Joe, made money off WireImage agency photos taken of the gift-giving. Jessica’s rep, Cindi Berger, confirmed to the New York Daily News Joe has been paid by WireImage for prior pics, but “Joe is not getting paid for these photos. The orphanage will get money from the sale.”
