Boulder — One of four teens charged in connection with the death of Lafayette woman pleaded guilty today.

Under the plea agreement, Jared Smith, 16, will serve two years in the Department of Youth Corrections followed by six months mandatory parole. He pleaded guilty to one count of being an accessory to a crime, a felony.

Authorities believe Linda Damm, 52, was killed Feb. 4, and her body lay in the trunk of her car for nearly a month before an anonymous tip brought Lafayette police to Damm’s home.

Damm’s daughter, 15-year-old Tess Damm, has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder in the case. Her boyfriend, Bryan Grove, 17, is charged with murder.

Authorities say Jared Guy, 18, conspired to cover up the crime. His attorney has said Guy is negotiating a plea agreement.
