Dennis G. Buechler of Centennial and Timothy R. Glenn of Salida have been nominated by Gov. Bill Ritter as the newest members of the Colorado Wildlife Commission. If approved by the Colorado Senate, Buechler would represent sportsmen on the 11-person panel. Glenn is the county commissioners’ representative. Both are Democrats. In a separate series of nominations, Ritter proposed six new members of the Great Outdoors Colorado board of directors: James A. Smith, Denver, unaffiliated; Karla L. Shriver, Monte Vista, Republican; Kathleen B. Rader, Colorado Springs, unaffiliated; Matt J. Sugar, Winter Park, Democrat; and Thomas W. Swanson, Evergreen, Republican.
