A passing motorist found the body of a man early today who appeared to be in his late 50s on a frontage road near Interstate 25, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
Foul play was not suspected in the man’s death, but an autopsy was planned to find out how he died, said sheriff’s spokeswoman Margie Martinez.
The body was found between the median and the frontage road on the east side of Interstate 25 north of the Mead exit.
The man may be a transient, Martinez said.
