Brad Pitt chastised a reporter for The Daily Mail recently at the Roosevelt Hotel for reports on his partner Angelina Jolie. “You know what it’s like to be on the cover of every magazine, having your personal life dissected with all the lies, all the rubbish?” Pitt asked the writer. “It’s hell. Certainly, pick on me – but why pick on Angelina? She’s such an amazing woman – like Supergirl, in every way.” Pitt, 43, quickly apologized for “taking my frustration out on you.”
The speculation on the Prince William-Kate Middleton break-up has begun in the British media. The Daily Telegraph reports Middleton’s mother did not make a good impression on William’s family and friends. Carole Middleton’s reported use of the word “toilet” rather than “lavatory” was met with derision. The Sun reported William and Kate decided to split during a stay in Zermatt, Switzerland, in March. A source told the Telegraph that Prince Charles “suggested to (William) it would not be fair to keep Kate hanging on if he was not prepared to marry her sooner rather than later.” Meanwhile, the Sunday Mirror claimed the prince had racked up a $22,000 bar bill as he “drowned his sorrows.”
Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler are a couple again. At Complex magazine’s fifth anniversary party April 10 in Los Angeles, Moakler told People magazine, “We’re pulling out of the separation, we’re still married.” The former MTV reality series stars, who have two children, split last August.
Halle Berry has set a deadline to get pregnant by the end of the year. Berry, 40, quoted by bang showiz.com, said: “Having children is my next big project. I’m planning on becoming pregnant by the end of the year.” Berry, 40, added she and her boyfriend, 31-year-old model Gabriel Aubry, are prepared to adopt “if it can’t happen naturally.”
