A female teacher’s aide at a special-education school in Lakewood has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old male student.
April T. Robertson, 32, was arrested Thursday after a lengthy investigation by Lakewood police. She worked at the Sobesky Academy, a day treatment program for special education students operated by the Jefferson County Public School system, since November 2006.
Police said the alleged incidents took place in December. The victim will not be identified in The Denver Post because of his age and the nature of the crime.
