BOULDER, Colo.-
A former Boulder County man was ordered to return to court next month in connection with alleged child pornography found on his home computers, authorities said.
Deputies from the El Paso County sheriff’s office arrested Thomas Michael Shervanick, 49, on Monday. That capped a two-month investigation launched after several people who visited the man at his home reported seeing apparent child pornography on his computer screensavers.
He was booked on two felony counts of sexual exploitation of a child.
Boulder County deputies executed a search warrant at Shervanick’s home in February and seized several computers. The sheriff’s office said two of those computers had an estimated 6,000 images and videos of suspected child pornography.
Shervanick recently moved from his home west of Boulder to El Paso County.
He is free on $30,000 bond pending a court appearance May 7.
