Possible first pick: The 49ers probably will take a player the Broncos are coveting: Nebraska defensive end Adam Carriker. If not, the 49ers could target Patrick Willis.

Possible first pick: The Bills could take California running back Marshawn Lynch or trade up to get Adrian Peterson. But if Patrick Willis is available, they might take him. The Bills also could start the run on cornerbacks and take Pittsburgh’s Darrelle Revis or Michigan’s Leon Hall.
