ExpressJet Airlines’ launched its first flights from Colorado Springs under its own name today.
ExpressJet now flies nonstop from Colorado Springs to Los Angeles/Ontario and Sacramento with 50-seat aircraft. It will also begin flying from Colorado Springs to San Diego May 7.
ExpressJet Holdings started ExpressJet’s independent operation earlier this year. Colorado Springs is one of 24 cities the airline has said it will fly to with point-to-point service, which it says saves travelers’ time by eliminating layovers in crowded hubs.
ExpressJet also flies as Continental Express and Delta Connection.
