Blues, Brews and Barbecue Festival
The fourth annual Blues, Brews and Barbecue Festival will be May 26-27 in Beaver Creek. The Park Hyatt Beaver Creek hosts the largest exclusively Colorado microbrewery beer tasting in the state from 1 to 5 p.m. May 26. The tasting features more than 100 special concoctions from 30 Colorado-based breweries. Tickets are $35 per person in advance, $40 per person at the door. Call 970-949-1234.
Participating restaurants include Fiorella’s Jack Stack and Smokin’ Guns, both of Kansas City, Mo.; Pink Flamingo of Fort Smith, Ark.; Q of Albuquerque; Smokey D’s of Des Moines, Iowa; Dr. BBQ of Lakeland, Fla.; Sweet Mama’s BBQ of Westminster; Over the Fence BBQ of Thornton; Moe’s BBQ of Eagle; and Kirby Cosmo’s BBQ Bar of Minturn. Several Beaver Creek restaurants also will participate.
