Getting your player ready...

Height: 6-feet-1.

Weight: 190 pounds.

Age: 17. Born April 17, 1990, in Denver.

High school sports: Lacrosse (midfielder); football (linebacker, first team all-Continental League); and basketball (forward).

Grade-point average: 3.4.

Class: Junior.

My favorite subject: Theology. It’s just something different than you get normally. It’s not all about facts, it’s also about morality and something abstract.

My favorite athlete: Ray Lewis, because he’s really intense.

My favorite team: Notre Dame football, I like the tradition.

What I listen to: Country.

The best thing on my training table: Chipotle.

Pregame ritual: I just put on some country and try to relax and not think too much.

Time management tip: Take advantage of whatever time you have for schoolwork. You buckle down and make time for sports and lifting. Make sure you get that done, too.

Planned career: Undecided; committed to Denver for lacrosse.

My family: Parents Tom and Muriel, sister Tracy, brothers Austin and Chase.

I would love to visit: The Mediterranean.

What I like most about high school sports: I like competing. You get a lot of chances to go compete against kids and prove yourself.

What I like least about high school sports: I have no problems with any of it.
