Former Colorado center Mark Fenton has signed with the Broncos, the team announced today.

The 6-foot-4, 295 pound center played 42 games and made 31 starts in four seasons for the Buffs. Fenton earned honorable mention All-Big 12 Conference honors from The Associated Press for the 2006 season.

The Broncos also signed former Virginia Tech University kicker Brandon Pace and waived rookie guard Tim Duckworth.

Pace was a semifinalist for the Lou Groza Award as the nation’s top kicker. He finished his collegiate career ranked third in Virginia Tech history in career scoring with 310 points, and he set an ACC record for career field-goal accuracy, making 58 of 68 attempts.
