Rosie O’Donnell is talking to Jenny Craig to promote the weight-loss program, janet charltonshollywood.com reports. Besides the chance to shed some pounds, O’Donnell wants to soften her image and realizes the program has helped the likes of Kirstie Alley and Valerie Bertinelli, who have promoted the diet plan.
Debra Messing refused offers to increase her bust when she began on the former NBC comedy “Will & Grace.” Messing, whose USA Network series “The Starter Wife” debuts May 31, told OK magazine she refused to wear bra implants. “When we shot the pilot, I was handed chicken cutlets. They were bra implants and I wore them,” Messing said. “After the show was picked up, at the first fitting I said, ‘I don’t want to wear these.’ I actually like the idea that (Grace was) flat-chested. I think there’s comedy in that.” Studio execs winced at having a flat-chested star, but in the end Messing won.
Liev Schreiber is impressed how relaxed his fiance, Naomi Watts, has been during pregnancy. Watts, 38, is expecting the couple’s first child and seems to be enjoying the experience. Quoted by bangshowbiz.com, Schreiber said: “She’s great. She hasn’t had any strange cravings. In fact, I’ve never seen anyone handle a pregnancy so well.”
In the odd-quote-of-the-month department, Cameron Diaz told Us Weekly: “If a woman who’s a successful actress weighs 300 pounds and has warts, nobody ever asks her, ‘Do you think you made it because you’re ugly?’ So why should there be prejudice against someone who’s had some success in films and looks a little better than average? It’s all in my genes, so don’t hold it against me.”
Being the daughter of a rock star is not enough for Kimberly Stewart. Rod Stewart’s kid is envious of a film star’s certain body part. “I want my (butt) to look like Jessica Alba’s,” Stewart was quoted by bangshowbiz.com. “She has the best body. I’ve met her before and she is really sweet too. Next time I meet her, I’ll ask her for tips.”
