A recent examination revealed a small malignant polyp, and doctors decided not to remove it, fearing it may increase the risk of spreading cancerous cells. Instead, doctors plan to emit radiation in the cancerous area to destroy the polyp. Fawcett, 60, was diagnosed with anal cancer last September.
Britney Spears refused to visit her mother, Lynne, who was hospitalized on Mother’s Day, a friend told the National Enquirer. Lynne, 52, was hospitalized when a bout of the flu turned into pneumonia. Spears reportedly is furious that her mother insisted she enter rehab.

Former “Married … with Children” actor David Faustino was arrested on charges of disorderly intoxication and marijuana possession in Florida a week ago. New Smyrna Beach police spotted the former Bud Bundy arguing with his estranged wife, Andrea Elmer Faustino, early Saturday morning. Faustino initially was cited only for public drunkenness, but police found a bag with 1 gram of marijuana in his pants pocket.
