DENVER-
Former Gov. Bill Owens has added RBS Greenwich Capital to his list of post-governorship ventures.
In a statement Thursday, Owens said he will be vice chairman for the Greenwich, Conn.-based group, which is part of the Royal Bank of Scotland, focusing on global banking and markets as well as public-private infrastructure finance.
Owens, a term-limited Republican who left office Jan. 9 after two terms, said he will remain an active partner in a firm that buys land for residential and commercial development, which he joined shortly after his term ended.
In January, Owens became a senior fellow at the University of Denver’s Institute for Public Policy Studies. His position at DU, where he would write policy papers, conduct research, take part in symposiums and serve as a guest lecturer in DU classes, is part-time.
