Colorado anglers craving a big-fish opportunity should look no further than lake trout and northern pike, the apex predators in several reservoirs across the state. Late May through June generally is prime time to find fish that can grow to 30 or 40 pounds – although much smaller specimens are likely – closer to the surface, which makes Dave Bryant’s current seminar series so timely.
