Monarch’s Brooke Collins shot a 3-under 70 to lead the Class 5A state girls golf tournament at the Patty Jewett Golf Course Monday.
Grand Junction Central’s Melissa Martin was a shot back at 71, while Heritage’s Kayley Kempton was in third place at 1-over par 74.
Cherry Creek leads the team race with a 249, followed by Douglas County (250), Highlands Ranch (254) and Heritage (255).
