Denver – Two men were arrested after running from a one-car rollover accident that killed a person and closed westbound Interstate 70 in Denver on Wednesday night, police said.

The crash occurred about 8 p.m. near the Tennyson exit, Denver police spokeswoman Virginia Quiñones said.

Police did not know why the two men ran from the crash, but they were apprehended a short time later, Quiñones said. Police did not know if the men were in the car that crashed.

The dead victim was found pinned under the car and the lanes of the highway were shut down for more than two hours.

No identity was available on the victim or the men. And there was no indication whether drugs or alcohol played a part in the crash.
