BOULDER, Colo.-
The death of a 65-year-old man who collapsed while walking in the Bolder Boulder race on Memorial Day was caused by a blood clot, the Boulder County coroner said.
The coroner said Ross “Jack” Lowe of Littleton had heart disease that caused the clot, the coroner said.
The retired engineer was the first person to die in the 29-year history of the event, race officials said.
